Vintage Burberry Silk Scarf

Gorgeous vintage Burberry silk scarf made prior to the brand's transition from Burberry's of London to Burberry. Features iconic Burberry check with knight on horseback wielding the Burberry shield and Burberry Prorsum flag. The knight is encircled by a wreath of golden leaves, fruit and ribbon. Colors: Neutrals and iconic Burberry check pattern Material: 100% silk Condition: Vintage item in excellent condition This item is in truly excellent condition. There are no holes or stains. There are several minor pulls (see photos) that are not noticeable when worn. Tags are attached and intact. Scarf arrives in its original bag. I obtained this item from a private seller in New York. While he stated this scarf was being sold from the estate of an heiress who wished to remain anonymous, I cannot confirm this. I can say, however, that the original owner kept the scarf in excellent condition. I myself have worn the scarf only once and have kept it folded and in the original bag since this time. There are seams from the item being kept folded and these come out easily with gentle steaming. The scarf is a light and buttery silk that's a beautiful addition to any collector's wardrobe.
