It is an antique from the 1930s, featuring an illustration of Drayton's Dolly Dingle children, who are the precursors to the Campbell Kids. On this charming plate, a boy presents a bouquet of flowers to a girl holding a doll, and it is signed by G.G. Drayton at the bottom. The reverse side bears the "Buffalo Pottery" mark. It is believed to be a genuine Dolly Dingle since the Campbell Kids illustrations were not signed by Drayton. The condition of the item is excellent for its vintage age, with general crazing and minor surface wear to the decoration and gilding, as well as slight staining on a section of the pottery.
