Vintage Brutalist Sand Cast Brass Buckle, Abstract Flower, Celtic, Artist Made

Stunning artisan made brass (presumed) buckle with abstract floral design reminiscent of Celtic coins. This piece is hand made and based on texture appears to have been sand cast and polished. I see a small area of texture on the back that if you squint looks like maybe a signature (zero?) but otherwise this piece is unsigned. There are a few small spots of color on the front as shown in pictures. Vintage, presumed to be mid-century but exact age and origin is unknown.
