Vintage Brown Tweed Suit by Snyder-Craft of CA, Flattering Style, On Trend

Great vintage brown suit in classic, soft wool tweed. made by Snyder-Craft of California, as shown on original tag; dates to the 1960s-70s. Near perfect condition. The stylish matching jacket & skirt suit is made of a soft brown tweed with black, orange and yellow flecks. This is a handsome fabric for autumn and wearable through winter and early spring. The fabric is thick but pliable due to a soft weave, not tight or stiff. Three large, smooth, wooden buttons (about 1-3/8" each) permit the jacket to be worn open or closed. The sleeves are bracelet-length. The two front pockets have top tabs, not flaps. Self-belted with a fixed tie across the back that is set loosely for casual comfort and style. The jacket is lined entirely with golden satin acetate; the skirt has the same lining material but is goes only halfway down and only on one side (the back, presumably). The liner armpit seams have been reinforced after some threads loosened there; this is only on the seam, there are no tears, stains or issues of any kind. The skirt is secured by a vintage zipper and button closure, both in good condition. About a size 10 with a roomy jacket. A fantastic vintage suit, well-made and stylish.
