Vintage Brooch Trifari Gold Laurel Leaf Wreath Bows Signed Mid Century

A stylish and elegant brooch signed by Trifari © A laurel leatwreath with ribbons. Gold tone  in two Trifanium textures: brushed surfaces  and glossy. See the photos for condition and size TRIFANIUM A shiny, non-tarnishing metal alloy patented by the Trifari company in 1947. The castings were filed, polished, and then plated with either gold or rhodium to produce either a "golden-toned Trifanium" or a "platinum-toned Trifanium". Trifari used the Trifanium alloy to create their costume jewelry starting in 1948 and it was used in almost all of their pieces by 1951.
