This lovely beautiful vintage brass peacock-style compact-size folding fan fireplace screen features ornate Victorian-inspired detailing, pierced brass fan blades, and a cameo-style center ornament. It is in excellent vintage condition with only light tarnishing appropriate for age—many collectors prefer the warm patina, though you may polish it if desired. The fan blades open easily but are slightly “sticky,” meaning they do not swing open on their own. One side clip that would secure the fan closed is missing, but the screen still stays shut without it. Unmarked. Measures approximately 21.5" wide (fully extended) x 16.75" tall x 4.25" deep.
