Vintage Brass Storage Box Decor Lid Top Hinge Handle Latch Forged India I’m the original owner and you can tell by the the aged patina on the outside, it’s been stored closed for years because the inside is a bright and shiny brass. I decided to give the new owner the chance to keep the dull outside for charm or a little brass polish can change the look, it would be a quick and easy project. I took a lot of photos in different natural lighting and you can see there are no dents or major scratches. It’s aged and unique! It’s hand wrought or forged and not mass produced unlike most items today. You will notice the bands of brass that was used in each section. I carefully washed it with a damp cloth and Dawn dish detergent keeping the original Made in India tag on the bottom. The number 59 is stamped twice in the back by the hinges, probably the type of brass. See photos for measurements
