Vintage Brass Bird Sculpture Crane Heron Egret Ibis Seabird Statue Figure MCM

Hello, you're looking at a vintage metal bird sculpture. I believe it is a crane from the position but could also be a heron or egret. The metal is likely brass and it sits on a pedestal made from what seems to be the same material. It is attached to the base with two screws. It measures about 15 inches from the head to bottom of the pedestal, with the pedestal measuring about 3/4 of an inch high. The maximum width of the bird portion from front is about 2 1/2 inches, and the side profile is about 3 inches. The base diameter is about 3 1/4 inches. Condition-wise there are some damaged areas and a general patina to the metal. Some areas have discoloration and are a bit off-center or rough where the metal was shaped.
