Vintage Bowl With Lid Soup Tureen With Handles Folk Art Ceramic Unmarked

Please read the description and review each of the photographs provided as our pictures are always an important part of our description. This soup tureen is in good structural condition; however, it has been painted by one of its previous owners and I did not find any identifying marks of manufacturer. There is a design on the knob lid but I do not know if it is characteristic of a particular manufacturer. I have no idea what kind of paint was used as this was an estate item and I do not know its history. The graphics drawn on the sides appear to be freehand.
