Bonwit Teller was founded in 1897 as a luxury department store. In May 1990, Donald Trump demolished the Fifth Avenue store in order to make room for the Trump Tower, & the firm of Bonwit Teller no longer was in business. This incredibly fashionable &!timeless 2 piece polyester top & skirt is from I believe the 70s, beautifully made and in amazing vintage condition. Features a plunging neckline with a mandarin collar and matching belt/sash. Heavy & nicely detailed gold buttons at wrists.
