mmleyerly @brittnicoletate hi! It is 48 inches from end to end and no, it is not adjustable but it is removable. You could change the strap to one of your liking.

mmleyerly @brittnicoletate I have not had any experience with cracking on the inside or outside. I’ve had a handful of VBB, and as they are old Louis Vuitton purses, they are in great shape guranteed when purchased from VBB and I have not had any damages while using them.
