Vintage Blenko Glass Snowman Figurine Crystal Clear Style 711A / 76A 6.25 USA Made Charming vintage clear glass snowman figurine attributed to Blenko Glass Company, likely produced in the late 1970s to early 1980s. This form matches pieces shown in the 1981 Blenko catalog as style 76A, though this number may have later changed to 711A. The solid handblown glass body features a classic top hat, rounded form and natural air bubbles that add handmade character. A lovely example of American art glass that would be perfect as a winter accent, display piece or paperweight. Measurements: Approximately 6.25" tall × about 2.5" wide. Weighs about 1 lb 7 oz. Condition: This snowman was previously owned and came from an estate sale. There are surface scratches (see photos, as I tried to capture all I could see). There are two small areas on the back where the surface looks very slightly compressed from the shaping tools during production. There is a small raised dot on the head also likely from manufacture. No cracks noted. Overall, this snowman still presents very well for a vintage piece.
