1970s vintage mink coat - Blackglama - Great Lakes Mink Association Label - "World's Finest Dark Ranch Mink". Full or 3/4 length coat - in excellent, beautiful condition. No drying out areas, no odors, no tears or wear. Mahogany mink coat in all its glory! Purchased in the 70s at Frederick & Nelson in Seattle area - size 9/10. size 9/10. The coat hem hits me mid calf and I’m 5’4”. Mink breeders in the Great Lakes region of the United States formed the Great Lakes Mink Association (GLMA). They trademarked the black-furred mink as Blackglama, describing it as "the richest, deepest, most lustrous dark mink with the lightest, most flexible leather".
