Vintage Black Tie Oleg Cassini Long Evening Gown

This stunning vintage Oleg Cassini Black Tie evening gown is likely from the late 1980s or early 1990s. The "Black Tie" label was used for a specific line of the designer's formal wear. It is in phenomenal condition and could easily been worn today for any formal events! Oleg Cassini, an iconic American designer known for creating the "Jackie Look" for First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and designing for Hollywood stars like Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe. The strong shoulders and long maxi length are characteristic of late 1980s to early 1990s formal fashion. The dress features long sleeves and a bodice heavily embellished with silver-tone beads and sequins in an ornate, leaf-like or abstract floral pattern, contrasting with a plain black skirt.
