Vintage Black Reptile Leather Handbag

This elegant handbag is a mystery but a good one! I have no idea of the brand but it’s definitely high quality! This bag is made of some type of reptile or crocodile skin. It is vintage and easily dates back to between 1940-1960s. The twist closure on the front of the bag even has the same material that the bag is made of! The craftsmanship is impeccable which makes me think this is a designer bag - Gucci, Givenchy, Dior…but unfortunately no markings except for “Made in France” printed on the inside (and almost faded away completely!) it includes the original change purse on a chain, and has multiple pockets. Priced a little high based on the quality and craftsmanship of this perfect little black bag (that goes perfectly with that little black dress! 😉) There is a pink mark inside the bag that may be able to be removed though I have not tried to clean it. The handle is also beginning to separate but this could easily be fixed. Overall excellent condition for its age! Measures 9.5” across and 5.5” deep.
