Vintage Black Folk Art Bottle Doll

This sweet old bottle doll was found at an estate sale many years ago. She has a petticoat ruffle underneath her dress and the two liter bottle base is filled with sand (I think, she weighs 8 lbs.) and covered in creme colored fabric. Her dress is a pink and white polka dot with a white pinafore/apron pinned to her front with pearl hat pins. The head and arms are stuffed and covered with fabric. Arms move up and down slightly. She has a cute little smile and vibrant eyes. She is further embellished with little pearl earrings. What a charming girl she is and definitely an old one! Doll stands just about 21" tall and bottle base measures 4". She has been in my family for decades, time for someone else to enjoy her charm
