Vintage Bienen Davis cream box style handbag

Finely crafted Bienen Davis box style hand bag in creamy ivory, with fine gold wire pull-down latch release. Elegant, understated and ingenious closure mechanism. Exterior shows very little wear. Interior of light tan fabric features 2 compartments, one with zippered pocket. Zippers works smoothly. Other compartment features both a comb and mirror pocket. Comb pocket shows discoloration where original adhesives were used to create the pocket. Comb and mirror includes. Mirror shows age discoloration to the silvering, consistent with age.
