Stunning sleeveless merlot color babydoll halter dress from early 80s Betsey Johnson. Rare blue “punk label”. Made in the USA. Dark red with cream floral print velvet or velour. Lightly padded bustier top. Halter style with strings that tie around the neck. So awesome that it has side pockets (!!) There’s a wide smocked panel at back waist, adding to comfort and range of sizes it will fit. Talon zipper. Tag size is large. Modern fit probably ok for a medium or large. Measurements (approx) 26.5” from top of bustier to hem of skirt. 14.75” across empire waist seam (unstretched) Signs of wear include some visible fuzzies at the center of the bust (as pictured).
