Vintage Berardos Portugal Majolica Cat Covered Pomander Dish

Whimsical Berardos majolica cat pomander covered dish with intricate hand painted motifs from Portugal. On the back of the cat is a mouse that serves as a handle. Sweet conversation piece, and the perfect place for your aromatic potpourri. In excellent vintage preowned condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. There is one very small chip on the rim of the dish that is not seen when the lid is on-see photo. This cat is approximately 10 1/2 inches long, 6 1/2 inches wide and 6 3/4 inches tall.
