Vintage Bellestone Brown Minimalist Structured Frame Lizard Top Handle Purse

This handbag is made from genuine lizard skin. Bellestone was popular in the 50s and 60s so this bag is from that era. The top handle is dry, but I don’t know how to care for that so I have done nothing. As you can see the very center where the skins come together is cracked- I’m sure there’s a simple repair, but I don’t know what that is and the price reflects it.
