Bell System # KS8400 "Duro-Dial" Rotary Phone Dialing Attachment This 1.5" device attaches to the eraser end of a standard pencil. Then inserted into the holes of old rotary telephones to assist in dialing Patented in 1941. Patent Number is 2247027. Made in Melrose Park, IL by Bell Systems. The freely turning ball was inserted into the finger holes of a rotary phone dial to dial numbers. It saved many a secretary finger nails from breaking and eliminated sore fingers after a day at work.
