Vintage Bar Brooch in Sterling Silver and‎ Onyx

This gorgeous vintage brooch features a sleek black onyx set in a beautifully crafted, sterling silver cutwork and leaves design. Perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any outfit. The pin is about 2 3/4” long. While the brooch’s complete provenance is unknown, it came from the estate of my wealthy great aunt, who left behind a treasure trove of authentic, high-value fine jewelry that she collected on her world travels. She died in the mid-1970s, and based on a bit of googling I believe this brooch was made in the 1950s. It’s in excellent condition; I cannot find any flaws in it.
