Vintage Tapestry style Throw Pillow w/a sassy BULLDOG theme. 18 x 18, a touch smaller Around his feet are scattered playing cards, dice & even a cigar! Cheeky little fellow One of our PARIS FLEA MARKET FINDS earlier this year. We just don’t have the right spot for it. We have another, with Beagles (?) purchased at the same spot. That pillow is listed SEPARATELY We were told it’s circa earlier 19th Century. The condition is incredible, *IF* that’s the case. Original?? CLEAN. We’re calling it “vintage“, because we just don’t know. Interesting note! Same seller also had a footstool w/mahogany legs sporting the same tapestry style cover. I wonder if it still lives in Paris? To be clear, footstool not included In order to help you better date this, we’ve taken many pix. Including unzipping & showing interior seams. Zipper is an Opti, Co created in 1936, so may help date OR a later replacement, unsure. PILLOW INSIDE: INCLUDED Modern pillow inserts are usually bright white & generally look alike, regardless of brand. THIS PILLOW (inside) has a different texture, much more squishy & soft, and the color is off-white. Age to it? Back of the pillow is super soft, almost velvety. Heavier. There are some scratches in the velvet, for lack of a better word. Few loose threads on the outside seams. A wonderful piece!
