Vintage BESWICK England Mr. Micawber 9" Toby Mug/Tankard #310

Vintage Beswick of England 9" tankard featuring Mr. Micawber. He was in production from 1943 until the early 1970s. There were different variations related to color, but the most common was this guy with the green hat. I purchased this delightful piece at Harrods in London in 1974. It is in pristine condition with no chips, scratches, or blemishes of any kind. If inspecting it closely, you will see minute age crazing on the bottom. I love this guy, primarily because he is so darn happy!
