Vintage Aynsley Wild Violets Trinket Box Made in England Butterfly Discontinued!

- Vintage Covered Trinket Box - by Aynsley - Pattern: Wild Violets - Features Violets and a violet butterfly - Gold Trim - Colors: Purple, lavender and green on a white background - Diameter: approximately 4" - Fine Bone China - Made in England - Base is swirled - Status: Discontinued. - Years Active: 1985 - 1987 This pattern was introduced 40 years ago and was only made for three years. Here's your chance to own a piece of this lovely china! Who doesn't love violets .... and butterflies? MARKS: See pictures CONDITION: Very good condition with the caveat that there is a manufacturer defect at the rim (see last two pictures which are magnified 5 times. There is a little blip at the rim tho it is covered with the gold trim and obviously occurred during manufacturing. There is abrasion to the mark on the bottom which indicates a “second” i.e. the manufacturer recognized the defect and sold it as a second. It is a very inconsequential defect. No cracks, chips or stains. Colors are bright. No fading or loss of decoration. Questions? Leave a comment below!
