Vintage Austria Edelglas Wien 25th Wedding Anniversary Musical Wine Glass Lovely vintage 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary Musical Stemmed Wine Glass produced by the Austrian company Edelglas Wien . Beautifully decorated clear glass bowl with hand painted Edelweiss flowers on the front framing a large number 25 in white and silver letters in the center. There is an elegant silver gilt trim around the rim. Set on a green glass stem that flows into a large green ribbed base that holds the Swiss-made music box mechanism. The movement was made by the Swiss company Guissaz-Jaccard. The music box plays the tune "Anniversary Song". There is a brass wind up knob on the bottom . There is an automatic push stopper that releases to allow the music to play when the glass is lifted up and stops the music when the glass is set down. Glass measures approx. 5 3/4" H x 2 3/4" W. In very good vintage condition. Music box tested and is in good working condition. No chips or cracks. There is a bit of light wear in spots on the silver rim and one small flea bite in one spot.
