Vintage Asahi Beer coaster set featuring traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e artwork. This complete set of 6 cardboard coasters includes reproductions of works by renowned artists like Hokusai, Utamaro, Kuniyoshi, and Toyokuni. Each coaster is backed with Asahi Beer branding and comes housed in the original printed box. This set was originally issued as a promotional item by Asahi Breweries Ltd., Tokyo, Japan. A fun and functional crossover of fine art and mid-century beer advertising. Each coaster measures 3.75" and was printed in Japan. Great for fans of vintage advertising, Japanese art, or breweriana.
