Vintage Art Deco Paste Tennis Necklace With Fringe; 1930’s Drop Choker; 16.25”

This is a magnificent paste fringe necklace from the late art deco period. It features square cut paste stones that are set in an exquisite, tennis-style design with five luminous drops. This vintage beauty is rhodium plated, and features a unique, double clasp. Totally original and absolutely fabulous. ***Measurements (approximate): Necklace is 16.25” long x 5mm wide with 1.8” drop. Center drop is 1.75” long x 0.45” wide. ***Color: Setting is silver tone. Stones are clear with aged patina. ***Materials: Paste, rhodium plated brass. ***Markings: None noted. ***Weight: 1.73 ounces total weight. ***Condition: Fair/good preowned older vintage condition (c. 1930’s to 1940’s). Signs of wear present commensurate with age, including patina, verdegris, and wear to rhodium plating. Plating is in very good shape except for one side of necklace by clasp (please see photo- does not show when wearing). Stones show aged patina, with some yellowing and discoloration.
