Vintage Art Deco Carlton Ware Royal Blue Spiders Web Dish.

A lovely Carlton Ware dish (shape 1608) beautifully enamelled and gilded with a spider and web, moth and butterfly amongst brambles and bluebells on a royal blue ground. Highlighted and finished with gold. Minor wear to the gilding and one small chip on the underside of the handle (see photo) which is not visible unless you turn the dish over. Middle of three sizes produced. Length roughly 11.75 inches.
