Vintage Archimede Seguso Murano Heavy Gold Leaf Freeform Glass Bowl

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass ashtray bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This bowl was made by the Archimede Seguso factory, who is known to have made this design. In a stunning combination of clear glass, with lots of gold leaf inclusions encased in the glass. There are scratches on the base and there appears to be a mottled, yet clear film on parts of the bowl which may or may not have been part of the original form. Please see photos.
