Vintage Arabia Finland Hilkka Liisa Ahola Venus Ceramic Covered Bowl

Rich royal blue on white ceramic "Venus" covered bowl designed by Hilkka Liisa Ahola for Arabia Finland, circa 1965-1976. The design features a mandala-like motif in deep blues and aquamarine, resembling batik patterns which were hugely popular at the time. Excellent condition - there is a small chip on the inside of the lid (see picture) but otherwise no flaws. Marked on the bottom and original sticker on the side. Measures approx. 3 1/2" diameter by 6" high. Weighs 14 oz. Made in Finland.
