Vintage Arabia Finland Heluna Green Bull Ceramic Jug

Delightful ceramic jug featuring a whimsical green bull design. The pitcher's shape was designed by Kaj Franck and the distinctive cowbull graphic by Anja Juurikkala. It is part of the Heluna series which features four earthenware pitchers with stylistic bull decors in various colors (yellow, green, blue and brown). These pitchers were made by Arabia in Finland from 1955 until the 1970's making them mid-century modern pieces. Overall in good preowned condition, one chip on bottom rim (see last photo).
