Vintage Aqua GEM Canning Jar 1 Quart Embossed Patented Nov 26 1867 With Lid Great antique condition! No chips or cracks. There are some flea bites around the opening. There are a few small dark dots on the inside of the jar; they feel to be manufacturing defects. See last photo for details. A classic canning jar from the turn of the century. The jar is embossed GEM and has bubbles in the glass. Includes a glass lid from the period with the original zinc ring to secure it. Embossed on the bottom of the jar: "PAT NOV 26 67" with the number 11 in the center. Embossed on the glass lid: "TRADE MARK MASON'S IMPROVED...REGISTERED MAY 23 1871". Measures 7-1/2" tall and 3-1/2" in diameter at bottom. A great addition to any collection!
