This Vintage/Antique Rosenthal Fine Porcelain Platter was manufactured in Germany in the early to mid 20th Century... It measures approx 13.25" x 8.5"... The glossy white finish and simple rounded design makes it perfect for any occasion, whether a casual gathering or formal dinner. This piece was reproduced in their studio series later in the 20th Century, but the type and style of this stamp makes me believe it is an earlier original piece. The mark features the "Rosenthal" script logo with a crown design, followed by "GERMANY" and a circled "C". This mark indicates that the piece was produced by Rosenthal in Germany. The circled 'C' likely represents a copyright or registered trademark symbol. The inclusion of "Germany" in the mark became common after the early 20th century to indicate the country of origin.
