Vintage Antique 1940's Paper Mache Clown Head Mask Carnival Theatre Halloween

Vintage 40's or 50's theatre/festival mask made from paper mache and fabric. Label indicates it came from the Peoples Republic of China which is a label that appeared in the late 40's. Hand painted with a fabric hat finished with a yarn ball/tassel at top. The eyes have a thin gauze-like fabric that allows the wearer to see out.
