Vintage And Beautiful Mid-Century Modern Ceramic 1950's - 1960's Lamb Planter

Charming ceramic lamb planter featuring a blue bow. Perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to your decor. This is a vintage Mid-Century Modern (MCM) ceramic lamb planter from the 1950's to 1960's, often used for decor in nurseries or during Easter.  Style and Features: It features a white, textured body resembling lamb's wool, with hand-painted details like eyes, nose, mouth, and pink accents on the cheeks and inner ears. This particular one has a blue bow around its neck and black on her hooves. This little girl is in pristine condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing found. The inside is clean. It doesn't look like it was ever used as a planter. The colors are beautiful and bright. There is no fading of the colors. She measures about 8 inches wide and about 7 1/4 inches tall. The planter is about 2 inches deep. There is a number #287 on her belly. While this number corresponds with a McCoy piece there are no other markings to indicate that. Since there are no other markings and I cannot verify it as a McCoy piece it will be listed as unbranded. This is a wonderful find and one that is in excellent condition. I have not seen one in as excellent condition as this one. What a great piece for display in a baby's room or for Easter. Reference: DR BOX 1
