Vintage Amethyst & Emerald Crystal Clip on Earrings

This was a personal pair of designer earrings that I am ready to part with. We showcased this designer , Thelma Deutsch, in our wearable art gallery in the 1980s. She was a fabulous jewelry designer in 1980s-about 1995. She used her own unique designs and vintage jewel patterns to create for celebs, runway collections and hi end specialty boutiques. She designed in small batches and her pieces have become very collectible. This pair is clip on style and as many of her early pieces were, not stamped. There is a beautiful patina of 40+ years that only enriches the purple of the large amethyst Crystal and the smaller emerald accent stones.
