Vintage Alligator skin 1940s Hands Novelty Purse with Bakelite hardware

This adorable vintage bag is made of crocodile skin with bakelite hardware. The design is heavily representative of the animal it is made from, featuring the hands of the crocodile on the front of the bag. It's strap is made from the same material as the bag that has been woven to form a rope like handle. The lucite hardware is a translucent brown Bakolite with a hinge clasp as its closure.
