Vintage Albert Scharning Modernist Angel Wing Brooch; Sterling & White Enamel

This is an exquisite early modernist brooch by Norwegian silversmith Albert Scharning. It features a simple yet striking abstract angel wing design that is beautifully offset by luminous, white, guilloche. This vintage beauty is solid sterling silver with a gold wash, and has a c-clasp style closure. Details: ***Measurements (approximate): 1.7” x 1.2” ***Markings: “A. SCH., Norway, sterling, 925 S,,” on reverse. ***Weight: 8.3 grams total weight. ***Condition: Good preowned vintage condition (pre-1950). Shows signs of wear commensurate with age.
