Mode-Art was founded by Arthur Pepper in New York, New York, around 1950. While Pepper used the MODE ART mark on some jewelry, most of the pieces produced by his business are marked ART. The presence of a copyright symbol after the mark indicates manufacture after 1955.
This is a beautiful Victorian style bracelet from 1960s with the Hallmark ART. Although there is another version with turquoise and faux pearls, this is a rhinestone version with faux pearls in the roses. The orange coral cabochans are lucite. Comes with a safety chain. At first glance it may seem simplistic, but there is complexity in the design with the filigree details in the hearts, the textured roses, even down to the small textured choices in the panels or the settings that makes this a great collector's item for dressing up or every day wear.
This is from an estate lot and will show signs of wear. I cleaned gently but kept the integrity of the patina. Buyer's choice to remove.
Please review all pictures and video for visual grading before purchasing as this product is final sale.
