Vintage ART Signed Gold-Tone Poison Locket Ring Ancient Roman Intaglio Cameo

Rare vintage ART branded poison locket ring with ancient Roman Carnelian intaglio, depicting the goddess ceres. Pre owned excellent immaculate condition. Ring is adjustable, without adjusting it runs about an 8/9. Such a beautiful ring. These rings were used to carry various substances, including poison, perfume, powdered herbs, etc.. even used to hold a lock of hair, a religious relic, or other personal mementos. Era is definitely 1940s-1950s. Has not been cleaned, nor tested. Such a cool unique stunning piece! This beauty will be carefully packaged.
