Vintage ART Arthur Pepper Egyptian Revival Vulture Goddess Necklace

This is a great big silver and gold tone Egyptian Revival Goddess Necklace, featuring vulture-like birds, etched with little cryptic designs and a medallion link chain. The necklace measures approximately 18 1/2 inches long and it is signed on the back with ART, for the designer and creator Arthur Pepper who started the Mode-Art jewelry company in New York City in the late 1940s. The name eventually was shortened to ART. This piece is absolutely gorgeous. It is in very nice pre-owned condition as you can see in the pictures. Some of the medallion like discs have some rusting, so they may need some cleaning. Even so, this is still a very lovely piece and a nice addition to any collection.
