Vintage ARPEGE by LANVIN Paris 1 OZ PERFUME Signed Bottle Rare ¼ Full

Vintage 1950s--1960s ARPEGE by LANVIN PERFUME ~ Partially Used in Open Presentation Box ~ Made in France ~For Collectors~ Offered is a vintage bottle of Arpege in its original box; Total weight: 4.4 ozs. We believe (but cannot guarantee) it dates between the 50's and 70's; is 'parfum' (rather than eau de toilette, etc.); and is a 1 oz. (29ml.) bottle. (Perhaps collectors can identify the size.) Launched in 1927, Arpege has over 60 natural ingredients and is classified as a floral aldehyde fragrance for women. Top notes: aldehydes, bergamot, neroli, coriander, clove and peach; heart notes of Grasse jasmine, Bulgarian rose, ylang-ylang, camellia and lily of the valley; base notes of ambergris, benzoin, musk, sandalwood and vetiver. The BOTTLE is made of glass and retains its original blue, white and gold label in excellent condition; it reads: ARPEGE LANVIN PARIS. On the bottom in raised letters are LANVIN FRANCE and BR2. The screw-on stopper is gold and black plastic (bakelite?) with the intaglio of the Jeanne Lanvin mother & daughter logo. Bottle is approx. 20% full of perfume, (see photo) which smells very intense. This fragrance is vintage, and the scent has likely changed over time. Bottle with Top: 2½" high x 1¼" wide x 1¼" deep. The BOX has: a black plastic cover that shows wear and a cream and blue cardboard base with black plastic 'bumpers' to hold the bottle. 3" high x 2½" wide x 2" deep.
