From The Peterson Field Guide Series, this is "A Field Guide to the Birds - Eastern Land and Water Birds" by Roger Tory Peterson.  Sponsored by the National Audubon Society.  1000 illustrations, 500 in full color.  Paperback.   This is the 2nd, revised edition and the 46th printing.  The last copyright date is 1947, but the inside cover mentions the year 1967, so it was probably printed in the late 60s. 230 pages, not including all the plates. Inscription on the first blank page and a list on the last blank page. Otherwise, all pages are legible and intact.  Normal mild wear for an older book.   Weighs 14 oz.  Contact me with questions.
