Vintage ‘93 Norman Rockwell “Waiting at the Dance” Authenticated China Plate

This lovely vintage 1993 collectible fine Knowles china plate featuring Norman Rockwell’s “Waiting at the Dance,” number S11896 from his limited edition “Rediscovered Women” collector’s plate series, includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the president of The Rockwell Society of America, original protective box, and information about the collection (all pictured). Diameter measures 8 1/2 inches, height is approximately 1 inch. Norman Rockwell (1894 - 1978) was a beloved American painter and illustrator known for his iconic covers of the Saturday Evening Post and his vivid depictions of everyday American life. Rockwell's distinctive style blended idealistic American images, detailed realism, and strong emotion. In excellent pre-owned condition.
