These shoes are too cool for school, vintage Italian leather from the late 90's. I purchased these shoes in 1997 at a store called Bulo (still in business) in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. I did some serious clubbing in these and they are still in amazing condition. They are slip on style with a cool strap and unique buckle to keep them secure. They have 'Vero Cuoio' stamped on the bottom, here is a blurb from the net on what that means: "If you’ve ever noticed a small stamp on the bottom of your shoes that looks like a small animal hide with the words “Vero Cuoio” written inside, consider yourself lucky; you’re the proud owner of a well-crafted pair of shoes. An authentic Vero Cuoio stamp signifies that a pair of shoes’ soles are made from real Italian leather and the shoes were most likely created by an Italian footwear artisan or well-known shoe designer." I can't figure out the manufacturer, but I know these are quality, handmade shoes from Italy. I have recently conditioned the leather and a few years back I had new leather inserts installed in the foot bed because the original foot bed was all bunched up. They are in amazing, ready-to-wear condition. Comes with a dust bag from a pair of boots I own. European size 40 which is a 7 to 7.5 in US mens size. Price is fixed, please no low ball offers.
