Could you please tell me the hip measurement? Across the bottom of the zipper? Thank you.

@kimberlycamp692 yes of course, I’m usually pretty good about including this measurement and will go take it once my kids are asleep in an hour, thank you for your patience!

Just FYI. You actually have a very rare pair of guess jeans. The original triangle label said Paris on it before they changed it to USA in late 1984 going forward. Those jeans have to be made in 1984 or earlier, not late 80s/early 90s …all us cool kids in NYC wore them before the brand blew up big time

@lmarkrosen thank you so so much, I didn’t know that and being from Philly, I was ALMOST as cool as you but got my first Guess jeans (and then tons more) in 1986. I would always take the train up to nyc to shop at Fiorucci, Unique, Canal St Jeans… etc. I will research and update! 🙏🏼🩷

zoom in on the label in 1983 and 84 ads from Bloomingdale’s and MGA where they were originally sold and you’ll see the Paris label. Then from 85 going forward the ads/catalogs have USA. The brand was catching fire fast so the Marciano brothers wanted to change the marketing of the brand as ‘all American’ to max out the sales. The original stonewash 1982/83 jeans for women with the zippered ankles were coveted at the time! Hope this helps 😁
