🌙🖤I am so excited to drop offer this dress from the Guinness World Record holding, 55K dress collection! (more info below). This dress is a 1980s to early 90s black lace dress with the best witchy vibes. It's flirty and ready to dance the night away. This is the original dress that inspired the sold out Free People French Courtship Dress!
It features an inner boned bodice with sheer lace overlay up to the neck and cap sleeves. The lower has two layers of pointed handkerchief shirts with fluffy lace ruffled hems and linings. The back is divine! It is a completely open back with a low scoop to show some skin. There is a nylon Talon zip to get in. Material: Polyester Lace and Acetate Lining
Size: The vintage size is 9/10 and it fits a modern M-L. Modeled on an XL but was tight. It’s not stretch material, but inner princess seams.

✨ History: This dress was collected by Paul Brockman as a part of his lifelong dress love-letter to his wife Margot, so she would not have to wear the same dress twice! He started collecting in the 1940s and didn’t stop until 2013. His collection was over 55K dresses, and holds a Guinness World Record for the most clothing labels. Lisa Graystone curated and helped sell his collection from 2018-2024, after which the sale ended. I purchased a number of dresses that were delivered this year.
