Vintage 80s Old Hollywood Jenny Dobell Marigold Silk Gown & Robe Set, Lace Sz 8

A rare Jenny Dobell (England)silk ensemble from her cult 1980s “’30s Hollywood” period, rendered in a marigold palette trimmed in antique-style ivory lace. The bias-cut silk gown falls in liquid folds, shaped by a dramatic lace-up back, corseted w/ fine satin cord that echoes true 1930s screen-sirens. The matching silk robe adds full theatrical sweep: fluttering sleeves and a full, edge of lace. The robe shows a constellation of faint marks and colour-lift on the RIGHT sleeve from a past cleaning attempt; they sit in drape of the flutter sleeve-partially hidden when worn. The set is priced and photographed with these character marks in mind, and a skilled tailor could re-cut the sleeve to remove them entirely.
