Vintage 80s Madame Alexander 17" Elise Ballerina #1652 (1984-85) Brunette

17" vinyl (face) and plastic (body) doll with brown hair, and brown sleep eyes. Crown of pink flowers, necklace of rhinestones. Pink tule tutu, with neckline accented with gathered tulle and flowers on left shoulder. Pink taffeta bodice. Rhinestone and floral accents, and a pink satin ribbon at waist. Pink hose and ballet slippers. Wonderful, preloved condition. My mother purchased her in Tysons Corner, VA, in 1998. I have tried to show areas where there may be some discoloration of clothes and/or limbs. Comes complete with hang tag and original box. She appears in a picture on p. 107 of Madame Alexander Dolls, 1965-1990 by Smith; on p. 12 of the 1985 Madame Alexander Catalogue; and on p. 12 in the 1984 Madame Alexander Catalogue. All of the items have been stored carefully in a climate-controlled, non-smoking, pet-friendly home. There may be signs of wear on boxes from storage.
